Anyone ever teach abroad?
I'm considering teaching English abroad and assume there are a few people here in the lounge that have done it. How was your experience?

6. The perils of posting a serious question and expecting
a serious response. Sorry friend. I've worked overseas, if that's at all relevant to your inquiry.

8. A serious rsponse
I have taught in Japan for several years and both the boss and the students (well, most of them) have been tops. However, I have talked to some people who work for some of the nationwide English schools and their report (about their bosses) is not so glowing. However, they can clear around $2000/month and save much of that if they don't have to live like an American.
