At least for me. I tried an XBOX 360 with a powerline adapter. Most of the time the videos are 1 or 2 bars, freeze, stop working, it takes forever to buffer etc. Then I go into another room and watch the exact same video on my desktop or my laptop via wireless connection and it is 2 or 3 bars, never freezes, loads almost instantly, buffers in a few seconds. I am on a 3Mbps connection.
So I bought a Roku box and am using it via wireless connection. This thing f'in sucks too. It takes about 10 minutes to 'buffer' a 2 bar video. It takes about 10 seconds on the PC. Also the Roku box is about 20 feet from the router, but when I watch videos on my laptop 20 feet from the router I have no problems.
I am so f'ing pissed off. I have wasted all this money on netflix accessories and all they do is make netflix slower. It is like I am paying these people to take something that works perfectly fine on my PC and screw it up by making it slower and of worse quality in exchange for 'maybe' getting it on my TV.
I guess the only real option is to attach a desktop tower to the PC and watch netflix that way. Dammit.
