Sideways...a funny, quirky, insightful little buddy flick or an overrated piece of crap?

I've heard both opinions...I kind of like it, but if I try to watch it when the mood's not right, I swing toward "overrated piece of crap."

Sandra Oh and Virginia Madsen are brilliant, too. It was a wonderful ensemble cast.

I cannot for the life of me see why anyone would like it. Whiney characters, bad acting, slow as molasses, and an incoherent plotline. But really, what's not to like?
