How frequently do you throw up? (inspired by another thread)
I throw up about once every 4 months, usually around the first day of my period.

10. Two years ago...
With a bunch of friends drinking heavily... I was well past drunk -- felt fine, walked into the bathroom to use the facilities -- there was puke everywhere. That was it for me. :(

12. What a question and what a thread.
I'll add my experience. Normally, my stomach is steel and I have not vomited since my last pregnancy over 30 years ago EXCEPT for about 5 years ago when I got pancreatitis. Doctors could not come up with a reason why, except I had been taking prednisone for another problem. For about three days I threw up pure bile every couple of hours. The fourth day once, or twice, and after that, no more.

15. so long I don't remember; a hippopotamus threw up in my house in January..
at least it sounded like a hippopotamus. It was my 19-yr-old Drama Queen nephew, going for the glory to make sure we knew he was sick! And god, was he sick. Poor kid. We took him to the hospital and he needed two bags of fluids and a shot to stop barfing.

16. I used to often for a while
For some reason, I was sick to my stomach most of the time. I vommitted a few times per week. The doctor gave me acid reducers and such but that didn't help. They did an upper GI on me but didn't see any ulcers or such. When I started smoking pot, I kept food down better but still did not enjoy eating and still felt nausea after eating. I also had sinus problems.
After a year of sinus problems, misdiagnosed as allergies which I found out I don't have, I was intensely treated for a chronic sinus infection with a nasal spray, guifenessin, and heavy duty antibiotics for a month. I was even sicker stomach wise on the antibiotics but after finishing them, I stopped feeling sick most of the time and rarely vomitted anymore. I don't know if the sinus drainage was making ill or if I had a stomach bacteria, but I got better when my sinus infection got better.
Interestingly enough, I lost 15 pounds when I got healthier too without trying. I often wonder how I was able to maintain the higher weight when I was eating very little and vommitting as often as I did.
