Y';all remember THIS guy? I met his GOOD twin Wednsday.

Wednsday is our busiest day of the week.
I'm a "manager" at the Thrift Store, but Wednsdays
don't leave me much time to "manage"; it's all I can do
to work the #2 cash register from 1:00 till closing time.

A customer slid a box onto the counter when I was in
"cashier mode" ,and I was ringing up the price on the tag
when I noticed that the BOX was a "Books on Tape" set
of James Earl Jones reading the BIBLE.

Long story short, I looked up, and that customer had as much tattoo
on his face as the skinheaded fucktard in that photo.

Difference is: his tats were all BIBLE verses.

I don't pretend to be LITERATE in Hebrew, but I know a thing or two
about it, I can recognize a few words and common phrases...
this guy had some "New Testament" verses tattood
in Hebrew ON HIS FACE.

Plus a bunch of other stuff in English here and there.
Every joint of the fingers on his hand had a little
chapter/verse tat: John 3:16, etc.

2. I'm far from anti-tattoo but this is just self-mutilation.
If you're going for full facial tattoos, at least get something decorative and coherent like the Maori.

Does his mustache say "horebreed"?

8. The tattoo above his upper lip says "hatebreed," I believe.
Dunno if it refers to the band, Hatebreed.

3. I can see a day in both of their futures where they
slap their heads and go "what the hell was I thinking!"

I mean, that's just plain stooooopid, no matter what.

4. Well, I'm still JEALOUS of the one I met.
He has a cassette tape of James Earl Jones
saying "In the Beginning was the True WORD".

That's more than I have in my cassette collection.

5. Hah! And I'm jealous of you for managing a thrift store!
I could never work in one, because I'd be bringing all of the inventory home with me!

Besides, I'll betcha you can find an mp3 of that recording if you *really* wanted it.

6. Well, there is THAT. I cannot deny it.
I always thought it would be AWESOME to work at a Thrift Store,
and now that I'm managing one, I've learned that it's way better
than I ever imagined.

To quote BENDER from the Futurama show:
"Compare your lives to mine, and then kill yourselves."

7. But how do you resist?
And if there are rules preventing you from first dibs, then that's almost torture, isn't it?

If I managed a thrift store, nobody would ever shop there because it would truly be just crap.

10. Most of my "resistance" comes from the fact that I'm earning MINIMUM WAGE.
No kidding: I'm RESPONSIBLE for the entire place after 4:00
in the afternoon, and I'm paid the Princely sum of $7.30 for
every hour I do that.

But beyond the fact of FINANCES, I have a personal "Code of Honor"
that requires me to give our customers 'first dibs' on the good stuff.

I mostly buy the stuff that's been out on the floor for three weeks,
and is 'on sale' for half price.
Mostly.

I never claimed to be PERFECT.
I'm a nice guy, not an ANGEL.
