Woohoo! Percocet!
I can see how people get addicted to this stuff. I still don't like the overall feel, but at least the kidney stone pain is going away.

My typing coordination is out the window, too.

1. Ugh. You have a kidney stone? You poor thing.
I've heard thats about the worst pain you can have...As for the percocet..I took it once after my wisdom teeth were removed and all it did for me was make me dizzy and a bit drowsy..didn't do much for the pain....

4. That's more true of my experience with Vicodin,
whereas this is truly taking the pain away. I won't have much coordination when I have to get up and move around, but at least I will be able to move around, unlike this morning.

I kind of hate to compare, but I really think the sciatic problem I went through last fall was worse. That took forever to go away and is hard to put into words just what the pain was like. Kidney stones are worse for those that choose to pass them versus getting the help of a physician (and a medical staff) and either physically removing them or doing that sound-therapy technique. The latter still requires you pass them, but by then they should be down to what is often called "sand" or "gravel", though on a much smaller scale.

7. You know me?
After my kidney surgery, they were pumping pure morphine into me to try to make me stop screaming. And I pass kidney stones every 30-45 days and had a punch biopsy of my kidney done without sedation (Versed doesn't work on me, but they didn't really believe me until they saw it for themselves) so I am no stranger to kidney pain.
