Spent lunch with wingnuts. Plus, a suggestion for the makers of "Table Mate II"
Edited on Mon Apr-06-09 02:00 PM by UTUSN
Well, *literal* wingnuts:

Needed them to modify the Table Mate II. Yes, I didn't even know there was a 2.0 version. But here's my suggestion for the 3.0 version: Problem:: A notebook/binder slides OFF when the table is at an incline. I tried some office type metal clips on the edges to form a barrier, but these didn't work.

So I am actually going to drill a couple of small holes, put machine screws through a hex (ring?) on top, put a washer and a wingnut on the bottom. The couple of screws will protrude about an inch on the table surface to brace the binder against sliding off. Kay?!1

And to the makers of Table Mate: I want a percentage!1
