The meat thief is on the loose in Oshkosh.

Oshkosh police reported they have a male suspect they're looking for who has recently taken in excess of $1,000 in meat and razors from at least three grocery stores in the city.

Police said the man takes what is believed to be quality cuts of meat and then tries to sell the stolen meat to various businesses in the city. Oshkosh Police Department Sgt. Dave Gomoll said they've received reports from at least one tavern that the man tried to sell them meat.

The suspect is described as being 5 feet 9 inches tall, about 210 pounds, with blond hair and green eyes. He was seen wearing either a jean jacket or Green Bay Packers jacket, according to Oshkosh Police Department Sgt. Brent Buehler.

5. I was standing in line once at the grocery

and the fellow behind me kept staggering forward and bumping me. By the third time he bumped me I turned around and got a look at him. Dirty clothes, unkempt hair,unshaven,bloodshot eyes, and a arms full of crab legs. I ignored him..he got sick of waiting and darted out the door with the crab legs!

The lady behind him witnessed all of this and hollered that this guy was running off with unpaid groceries. I paid for my stuff and some staff were chasing the crab leg crook and other staff were gathering up the crab legs they he dropped in the breezeway where the shopping carts are kept.

Drugs and booze can make you do stupid things.
