Poll question: What city do you live closest to, part 2
I shook up the options, including other cities.

I'm closest to D.C. in this poll.

Almost exactly a two-hour drive. I had to drive there and back last Friday, and sitting down hasn't felt right since. x(

27. San Diego is a "shadow city" due to its proximity to LA
Hence, it doesn't come up on National Weather maps. Just like Baltimore often gets ignored between Philadelphia and Traffic Circle Hell, DC.

15. New Orleans for me...
I live in the DFW area and it's just over 500 miles to New Orleans. The next closest city would be St. Louis which is about 625 miles away.

About 2 hours as the car drives on a bad commute day.:(

Fortunately I rarely have to do that.:)

22. TWENTY cities and NO Houston???
For some reason Houston gets ignored a lot in national surveys.

It's the FOURTH largest city in the U.S.

2.5 million people in the city limits.

4 million people in the Metro area.

Right behind NYC, Chicago and L.A.

Why they ignore it, I don't know.

33. San Francisco is a mere 2400 miles from the sacred 'aina
oddly, L.A. isn't up there, but it's slightly farther, despite being farther south, because of the way the coast cuts eastward around Santa Barbara.
