Boss just asked me how he can find out what English titles we have from certain authors. Took me a bit to figure out the exact search words but I found it out. That is stuff I LOVE to do :D

does your library have a lot of different languages represented? Is it common for libraries in Europe to collect books in languages other than the dominant language of the country? Sorry, I know the sentence structure of these questions is a little weird; I'm just not sure how to ask the questions in a more coherent way <-- I haven't finished my coffee yet!

50. Of course we mainly collect books in German

but also have other languages. Like when the works of a certain and for us important author get translated in other languages we try to have copies of those books too. From all over the world. But the main foreign languages are English and French.

Obviously, they collect books in English, and most libraries around here have a Spanish section, because of our large Spanish speaking population, but I don't think we collect much in other languages. Of course, our libraries are seriously underfunded, so they barely stay afloat as it is. :shrug:

I pay about €750/month for the condo. That is normal for that size in Frankfurt. I have no idea whatsoever how to compare it to US metro areas.

I swipe the floor with a special parquet cleaner. That helps a lot.

And the wall above the TV ... see that big pic on my couch? I haven't decided yet if I want to put it there or above the TV. Beside, I don't have the money for a plasma at the moment.
