What is your favorite and least favorite vegetable?

I have a hard time picking just one fave but I'll go with broccoli because it's so damned nutritious and so damned good.

My least fave is easy: turnips. But I love turnip greens. How can something so good be attached to something so bad?

2. ROFL. I really like asparagus, too,

never had rutabagas. I think turnips and rutabagas were the only vegetables my mom didn't cook.

3. Okay, here goes:
Favorite--Fresh crisp peas, straight out of the pod. I loved going through my dad's garden and picking off the pods and opening them right up.

Least favorite--Zuchini, makes me gag for some reason.

7. Asparagus, Asaparagus. Ah Sweet Asparagus. - We have a poetry book by that title.
Asparagus by far is my favorite - and our patch is coming into its third season so we can start snipping! :toast:

Least favorite is easy - Pithy pink "I wish I could pass myself of as a tomato" cellulose balls. I'm not sure what to call them or even how they are classified. They are at least passed off as a vegetable. :puke:

10. there's not much I don't like
I can even handle beets.

but just can't do brussels sprouts.

some greens are too bitter, but I like most.

Kale is inedible to me, which is unfortunate.
It's the most nutritious thing on the salad bar, but it's also the decoration.

13. In my family, you had to eat the kale, the Brussels sprouts, the

beets, the greens, whatever, so I learned to eat them and when I grew up I learned better ways to cook them and now I really enjoy them.

35. Yes, kale is wonderful cooked with garlic, olive oil and a little salt and pepper. Brussels
sprouts are wonderful roasted. Both are great in soup. You just have to find the right preparation.

I love potatoes. Doesn't matter how you make them, I'll eat 'em. I'm pretty partial to mashed or fried, though.

As for onions, well, they're hard for me to enjoy. I'm terribly, violently allergic to them! :)

Tastes like chlorine to me.
I've read it's a genetic thing.

Most favorite?
I guess spuds, in all their forms.
Baked, fried, boiled, mashed, hash browned.
How many other veggies can you do that with?

36. Yellow Squash
worst. vegetable. ever.
It even sounds horrible - squash. Like something you do to a mosquito.

Most other vegetables even if I don't particularly like them I will eat them if they are prepared certain ways, or mixed in with other things. But crookneck squash :puke:

Broccoli is probably my favorite. It's pretty tasty and very nutrient dense. I don't count potatoes or corn as veggies - those are starches.
