I would have said, "The economy is not that bad, is recovering quite nicely, and have you ever heard of 9/11?"

The economy will recover. Given the trama of 9/11, we should be thankful it's doing as well as it is. Had KKKlinton been in office, the Sears Tower, Peachtree Tower, the Empire State Building, the TransAmerican Tower, and several other tall building in the US would have been knocked down at this point, and tens and possibly hundreds of thousands of American civilians would be dead. And it would have been his fault for not mobalizing, which he wouldn't have done. Expect the same from Kerry. For the sake of the country, hopefully Bush will win in November.
