Good morning Lounge
How are you today? After the crazy day yesterday at work I hope it is more quiet today. I will see how it will go as the day emerges.

Today for lunch I will go out with a friend of mine. Looking forward to that. I guess when most of you guys read that it will be history already :)

I hope lunch goes well, and that today isn't so hectic.

:hi:  :loveya: :pals:

I finally got the sleep I needed, but that won't stop me from getting more tonight. The cold is working it's way out of my system. :woohoo:

Good to hear that you are feeling better. I am afraid I will get a cold. I am more thirsty than usual ... always a sign for me that something is not alright.

The morning was quiet, fortunately. Who knows what the afternoon has "in petto" (not sure that is known in English - it means to have something up one's sleeve).

Nothing like having a cow stare right in my face first thing in the morning.

Going out for lunch is always a pleasant change. It's good to get away from the work place every now and then. I eat lunch at my desk and work through my lunch break far too often.

And yes, your cow looks friendly, but remember, I'm from Wisconsin, and cows can be mean.

I don't get to see cows much, being in the city. But, if I had a car, it would only be about a 30 minute drive to see some.

I had dinner with my mother last night - we went to a sewing store afterwards and looked at all the new patterns. I can't believe how ugly fashion is apparently going to be in the next couple of seasons. x(

Yeah, everything that was bad about the 60s and 70s are coming back - but none of the good. It's distressing. It's probably a good thing that I don't actually follow fashion in my own clothing.

40. I make some of my own clothes
as in, I can if I need to, but I don't really have the patience for it.

My mother is the real sewer, and I go to her when I want something that I can't find.

I do embroidery and I knit (but that's new, so I'm not that good at it yet). So I'm more crafty. The funny thing is, she can't figure out how I have enough patience to do embroidery because she thinks that needs way more patience - and I completely disagree. I think it's a different kind of patience.

But now that I've found European patterns and magazines, it's much more fun. In the US all of the embroidery patterns tend to be either religious or country (like embroidering pigs and cows and chickens), neither of which I wanted to do. England, in particular, has some of the coolest magazines out there, probably because they have a whole academy devoted to needlework. The magazines cost me a fortune, but it's worth it for the inspiration.

81. No I mean the papers
that are written during meetings and keep track of what is said.

I am afraid, I blew my chances by now ... no idea who is going though or IF someone is going or went (more likely)

Oh well. Next time, volunteer right away, whether you knew the person or not. It would be easy to fake it once you were far away from the rest of your coworkers.

76. I would love to visit but, this is going to be a family trip with
Mom...to visit the gravesites of Grandma and Grandpa. We have not been since the funeral. We will see living family, too :D

I really do deserve a trip to AM and HD but, I can't justify it at this time :(
