They picked out some great old songs to do. Kermits version of the Groucho Marx classic "Lydia the Tattooed Lady" is pretty awesome.

I guess the Sci-Fi channel has made for TV movies now.

21. The colonel Flagg character was hysterically funny
MASH in general, while one of TV's better shows over the years, had a tendency towards dialog that was just a little too witty and clever for who the characters were supposed to be, and overacting by Alan Alda. Frank Burns was a pretty damn funny character too, but gotta agree about the Flagg appearances. That guy cracked me up

We've been watching it lately. My brother and I used to watch it back in the day and it was so cool. State of the art equipment, awesome rescues and all.
Now when we watch, my wife and I, we just do our little version of Mystery Science Theater and cut up!
Chet is always winding Gage up...it's a laugh!

It had Tom Poston on almost every episode. The supporting characters were far more surreal.

53. I like the 80s show too
especially the later seasons, when they started really highlighting the quirkiness.

I hadn't ever seen the original series until a few years ago, when I tracked it down on DVD, and I like it now too. I'd have a tough time saying which I like better, but if forced to choose I'd probably side with the 80s one as well :)

I loved the intro with the drive through Vermont with the Henry Mancini theme. The first show featured exteriors of Chicago, which isn't one of my favorite cities.

Just because I was a young boy and thought Steve Austin was super cool

Then, mid to late 70s was "Wonder Woman" - not sure why that show appealed to me.

and, late 70s was WKRP in Cincinnati.
