I actually find Coldplay listenable; and I like enough different kinds of music, that 275th isn't really all that bad...just AT LEAST 274 ( and probably more) bands I'd listen to ahead of em. But I don't automatically switch stations if they come on, while I am about as quick to switch when Rush comes on as I am ( or was) when Dubya's voice would assault me over the Teevee.....But I realize there seem to be a lot of Rush fans on DU , so maybe I'm missing something. I try to keep an open mind, but jeez, they just annoy the shit outta me.

I don't love or hate either band, but I like Rush more. I have one Coldplay album, and their songs tend to have the problem of all running together too much. Rush can be hit or miss, but they rock pretty nicely and are a much more interesting band than Coldplay.
