What's on your mp3 player/TV/stereo?
I'm trying something new.

A Keith Olbermann podcast is on my mp3 player, last Friday's show.
It works!

1. I love getting shows like that via podcast.
So convenient.

2. Agreed.
Talking head shows like Olbermann lend themselves well to a mp3 player, with that teeny screen.

Watching Star Wars on that little screen would be a real pain in the eyes. :-)

4. For sure.
I have podcast subscriptions for Olbermann, Rachel, Democracy Now! and The Real News.

9. From Egypt with a Creative Zen W...

Which Creative has discontinued. Thanks a lot, f!ckheads. Another great product that died for lack of support from its own creators...

OK, I won't go off on a rant/tangent. I do like that machine, though. In December 2008 I traveled from Egypt, where I work, to the USA, and loaded about 12 hours of History Channel video on that little bastard, along with 700 songs and a bunch of photos. Still had plenty of room left over, and I have the first-generation 30 Gb model.

But to answer your question, in the last couple hours I've listened to...

Coltrane, "My Favorite Things," the uber-long version
Green Day
Coltrane AND Miles Davis
Coldplay
Beatles, Purple Chick out-takes of...various stuff.
Johnny Cash
Clapton/Hendrix, "White Boy/Black Boy Blues"
Roy Orbison
1812 Overture, the weird but great 1942?? version with human voices replicating orchestral instruments
Carmina Burana something-or-other
Don't Fear The Reaper, BOC
Yankee Bayonet, The Decembrists (the ONLY song EVER, AFAIK, that mentions my home place in Upstate South Carolina--Oconee County)
Local Middle Eastern girl singers--Dana, Nancy Agram, etc. They piss off Islamic Fundamentalists, so I have to love 'em...
