1. It's not Trojan, it's the crazy state laws.
Texas has a law banning sex toys. It was struck down in an Appeals Court but the Supreme kinda reinstated it.

In the meantime there's plenty of mail order places for things like this...

If Spencers Gifts are still trading they used to sell vibrators as "muscle massagers".

3. Yep, they need to market these as "ear ache relief" devices...
...and lose the Valentine's Day angle, that's a dead giveaway for sex toy! :P

22. There are a lot of sex toy shops in Austin.
What defines a sex toy? Or does Austin just not care about the rest of the state?

26. Austin probably chooses not to enforce it
Being that Austinites can actually count past 10 without taking off their shoes...

40. At the end of the day, it's easier to order online.
The can't stop that, right?

Though there's nothing like the thrill of shopping through an "Erotic Emporium", such as we have here in California!

:P

No mail order sex toys. My cuz had to have some goodies sent to my care in TN because of that ridiculous law.

Two Words: Southern Baptists

38. Right

But you have to do it the Southern Baptist way. You may only have hterosexual sex with your lawfully wedded spouse, missionary position, man on top, no foreplay, toys or condoms.

The wife must be of childbearing age. As soon as she conceives, no more sex for you!

It's in their bylaws. Sex except for procreation is fornication and that is dirty, sinful and makes baby Jeebus cry.

Have fun!

9. Tennessee as well

We pride ourselves on not being Georgia. When their legislators were trying to steal some of Tennessee's land over this recent drought (so they could tap into the Tenn. River) lots of Tennesseans I know on the border said they'd shoot themselves before they'd become Georgians.

It really is that bad down there.

With condolences to the Georgia liberals I love, of course.

Burt Reynolds is probably available. Dunno who would take Jerry Reed's part, but you could always have John Goodman play Sheriff Buford T. Justice Jr.

15. Larry the Cable Guy would play the Sheriff.
Tim McGraw would play Bandit. And you know who would take Burt's place? Matthew McCauneghey (or however he spells it). It's inevitable. Burt would do a cameo as Matthew's uncle, giving him sage advice when everything has hit rock bottom.

Not what I want, just what I predict.

Edited on Wed Feb-04-09 03:45 PM by Taverner
These states banned all sex toys, with a scary but humorous diatribe by a FundyPsycho in the Texas House. He was bemoaning that these things "destroy marriages and let satan into your home" and of course "what will the children think?????"
