As a Netflix choice?
It is a truly creepy movie, with an ending that comes right out of left field. It also stars Robert De Niro, and I guarantee - the final credits will stay with you a LONG time.

2. I like him much better in Pope of Greenwich Village.
Watching him, Eric Roberts and late, great Geraldine Page chew up scenery is a treat. It's my favorite "actors" movie (also one of my favorite NYC-centric movies).

4. Maybe it's time for Eric to have a comeback
He was amazing in "Star 80"

5. Everybody always quotes the "they took my thumb" scene, but...
...I don't think there are many scenes funnier than Roberts going nuts after spiking the corrupt cop's drink with horse laxative. Freaking hysterical.

7. Yes, he was!
A very overlooked performance, IMHO.

9. Thank you for appreciating that movie. You are dead on right, IMO

"Angel Heart" was his golden moment, even more than "Rumblefish" or Cimino's "Year of the Dragon."

I'm so glad that so many people here do remember that the guy has talent.

Three directors made this guy act: Alan Parker, Cimino and Coppola.
