Have band practice tonight. Suggestions for new tunes?
Mostly an acoustic/electric mix of stuff. Just a bunch of friends that get together every Wed night. A couple of guitars, bass and drums. Tonight we are working on:
Losing My Religion
Amie
Your gonna lose that girl
American girl
Calling all Angels
Take it Easy
Any suggestion of tunes along those lines we should add?

Who'll Stop the Rain. Credence.

I'm waiting for my man, Velvet Underground. Despite the subject matter it is still a lot of fun to play.

8. Yeah, have to keep it simple.........
none of these other guys have played out before and trust me the drummer has a long way to go. It's just a fun thing to do with no pressure and I get to work on chops. Hell, I ought to be charging them cause they are learning a little bit of what it's like to be in a working band since I won't tolerate them not trying to learn the stuff. They are having a lot of fun too.

9. How about some Guster tunes?
They seem fairly simple and would be fun to play.

11. My band used to do a twisted cover of that....
it segued from the psychedelic section of "Whole lotta love". WLL resumed with the guitar solo, from the breakdown of BtBS.
Totally killer.
