in response to my whining about how cold my old house is. I did buy one, and I'm not getting out of bed, ever.

2. It's like the feeling you have when you wake up in the morning...
and you don't want to leave your warm bed. Except it starts as soon as you go to bed.

4. I've had a heated water bed for years.
It's great, and I'm certain it slowed down the onset of my lower back condition. They're perfect for those cold winter nights, and even better for keeping close friends warm...

7. I've had back problems
I can definitely see this helping if it flared up again.

17. Mine isn't a waterbed, just a regular mattress pad that heats up
like an electric blanket.

12. I think it's definitely a sign of my age
that my two favorite things are my heated mattress pad and my remote car starter. I just can't take the cold.

14. I take the bus to work...
One of my favorite things about using public transportation is not having to de-ice my car every morning in winter. I have no tolerance for the cold these days.
