Rod (who I never had anything against or was that crazy about-some good songs) told his record label that he wanted to release and album of standards. They told him he was crazy-his fans wouldn't want to hear those songs and those who do like those songs don't want to hear them from him.

He went to some tiny little label (Rhino?) and several million albums later everyone wanted to release a second one. He told them to bugger off and stayed with the little label.....several million copies later...
