Oh, for Zombie Jesus's sake! It's snowing again!
Like the 61 inches we've had since the beginning of December isn't enough?

You think if I go outside and yell in imitation of President Obama, "ENOUGH!", it might stop?

2. Wa. State. Spokane to be specific.
It's just ridiculous how much we've been dumped on this year.

4. How are your roads?
I'm guessing with that amount not that great? My uncle was in Helena MT for my grandmother's last days and was going to try to drive home to Seattle this weekend. I'm thinking maybe not, at some point all the roads through the mountains were closed or barely passable. He's got a truck but I don't know what kind.

6. The main roads are actually pretty decent (the interstate was bare and wet yesterday)
.....the side streets are a nightmare from which one never awakens.

3. Embrace the snow!
The ice, though...feh! I just came inside after scraping salted ice off the sidewalk in front of my house. The city has started fining people who don't keep the walks completely free of snow and ice. Silliness. The people on my street have more sense than to walk on icy sidewalks, anyhow.

5. I keep my walk cleared, but I can't help but feel for the person who gets plowed in.
I know the snow plows have to put it somewhere, but that shit is fucking heavy when a plow dumps 3 feet compact snow and ice onto your sidewalk.

7. I sorta solved the snowplow mound at the end of the driveway thing.
What I do is to go out before the plow comes and plow the street, from the curb to about six feet out into the street. I plow the entire width of my lot. When the plow goes by, there's not much for the plow to work with and dump on my driveway. My pile ends up about 1/4 the depth of my neighbors'.

8. No snow for the past couple weeks.
We got a few inches earlier in December, but lately, it's been windy.

Damned Chinook wind blew over my barbecue grill!
