And I'm looking at the TRAVEL Channel only to find out that I missed going to a superb donut shop in Round Rock.

Life is not fair

1. Roadtrip.

You're a radio host, tell your bosses you're going looking for America and you want to broadcast from the road. Then go get those donuts. Then all you need is a red convertible, a bat-shit crazy cohort and a copy of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S. Thompson.

It'd be a new genre...gonzo radio with donuts. Because, really...who doesn't want to listen to smooth tunes with a guy driving around looking for America and eating donuts.

Actually, that might make a good book. One part HST and one part Kerouac, but mocking the post-modernist obsession with consumerism.

edit: Bolds because you've got to put a strong verbal emphasis on America to really sell it.

My life is now complete!

I posted a Poi Dog Pondering video on Facebook today because I needed a dose of home. We have 10 inches of snow on the ground here.

13. Frozen, it's snowing its ass off here, too.
I am thinking about the apple whole wheat tomorrow, since I brought some with me to WA. I had to go out and get syrup. :)

I'm good; adjusting to life up here, but overall it's good. :)
