3. Hi, Tom! How's your weather? Getting better, I hope.
I grew up around Salem and lived in Eugene for another 8 years before I started rambling around North America. My folks are Not Happy with the road conditions right now (they're still in So-Lame). Hopefully they've got the spoons AND the spatula out to clear things up in PDX!

4. hello! I'm happy to hear from you!
The big snow/ice storm has so far not materialized! It's been flurries so far, so far the Willamette Valley is safe from the flowing moisture from the skies...

5. Excellent!
My mom's off the road the second she sees a flake. My Dad grew up in Madras and Hood River, so he just drives around and stuff...

7. I admit it I'm a total wimp when it comes to true winter driving.
It was harrowing driving my Dad to the airport this morning but that's mainly due to my 32 year old automobile!

6. Hey you!
How is your weather.

We are having rain and mountain snow here. The Californians think it is cold out.

9. OC is not getting snow, but there is snow at about 2500 feet
in the San Bernardino mountains.

The Grapevine is closed. The Cajon Pass on the 15 is closed. The 14 is closed.

13. I do.
And now to go actually see and touch the snow, I have to buy tire chains. Even though the amount of snow we have gotten is not enough for me to have lost all ability to drive in it.

California is so nanny state in some respects.

21. Jobs are sucking for everyone, Thom. The exiting commander in thief...
...has left our president elect with a pile of rubble to play with. We're all hurting, and I'm also one of those applying for jobs that don't exist.
