Following a sleep apnea diagnoses, I had a combination tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy/uvulectomy. Not a lot of details to be shared, really. Hemorrhaged a few times after the fact--kept waking up in pools of my own blood. No fun!

But it definitely freaks people out when the old uvula comes up in conversation and I show them how I got none.... :D

It's bifurcated--or there are actually two there.

Even more WTF is why I keep feeling compelled to look at things that say "warning. . ." :P

As for "uvula," I am extremely disappointed I can't find a YouTube with Barney Fife declaring, "I got a uvula, you've got a uvula, all god's children got a uvula!" (Surely, I'm not the only one who loves Andy Griffith.)

He's my favorite character on the show. I love that move he had where he pulled his pants up and made that face when he was all proud of something he did.
