It's a web site that matches volunteers with researchers seeking to prevent breast cancer by finding the causes. For example, a study may request samples of breast milk from nursing mothers or a blood sample from say post menopausal women.
Have you joined up yet? If not, why not?

I just signed up. I quickly went over the FAQs. Perhaps I'll bring this to the attention of my MD, to have the forms in his office. My daughter is an RN, and we'll get going on this.

Although only accepting women right now, the initial goal of one million is over the quarter-million mark. All women can take part...and men are our support system. The male DUers can get their partners, sisters, family and friends to sign on....I'd love to see this in GD.
This army is just the beginning...

It's so easy to simply sign up, and I'll do whatever is asked of me...Cancer has touched all of our lives.
