Hi all, Update on my Mom, Me, etc...

Mom was supposed to have her surgery today, it didn't happen, not sure why. I'll be calling in the morning. I assume it was an OR scheduling issue, most likely.

I've decided to suspend my Internship work/go on hiatus from it. I had to. Conference in > 3 weeks, 3 classes, Mom/Dad's illnesses/hospitalizations...etc.

I have a cold.

My left upper eyelid has been twitching for almost a week, on and off. They say it's caused by stress, fatigue, caffeine, and/or alcohol. All of the above apply to me, so... :shrug:

I'm alive, and just not posting much lately. :)

Well, I can hardly blame you for not posting much!

Posting takes energy, and right now your energies are directed towards your mom and school, and all the rest of your life...

5. Sounds like a good move, as hard as it probably was to make that decision.

Twitching eyelid --been there. Too much stress and fatigue in my case. Sometimes the body just sends us little hints like that.

You have an awful lot on your plate right now -- suspending the internship is probably a very good move. :hug:

6. My supervisors were extremely understanding...

I'll still be doing my Collective work, but that's just 2 hours a week, Thursday nights. They completely understood and thought it was the right choice, all things considered, as did my Adviser, who's also my Thesis adviser.

I just need time to get things done. Doing this will make that possible.
