Leonid Meteor Shower - Question
OK, so I am going to be up late working on a paper and I will go out and look. Unfortunately, I am pretty limited to my front yard with trees, streetlight, etc.

Where to look?

Where is Leo in relation to Orion? I know where Orion is.

1. Look for the Big Dipper.

Leo is directly below it.

Edit to add sky map:

3. Up
Seriously. The Leonids will appear to be originating from a convergent point in Leo but can appear anywhere in the sky. The tracks are actually parallel but only appear to have a convergence due to perspective. Invariably, the biggest and brightest will be in whatever direction you are not looking. :)

4. I find binoculars more of a hindrance. Find a place with good seeing - little light pollution
and smog/cloud cover, and you can easily see the streaks with the eye.
You are better off with a wide field of vision, and will see no detail with binoculars, etc.
Enjoy.
