Anyone see the film The Fall? (Directed by the dude who did the horrendous The Cell?)

I started watching it last night but stopped after a half hour because I was bored to death. Is it worth putting in the other hour and a half, or is the whole thing just the cinematic version of prog rock wankery? As far as I can tell, the whole plot is just a set-up for Singh to rip off every obvious surrealist idea he's ever seen and show just how complex and artsy he is (much like The Cell, except minus the weird sci-fi and serial killer aspects). It's like Guillermo del Toro and Alejandro Jodorowski had a kid, but the kid grew up without inhereting either's talent.
