in Spirit anyway :P

And yes, I did just add to the 100k and below bar

Though a good chunk of it is going to my cat's veterinary bill at the moment...

I will say it's closer to one end than the other...

I know Kipper thanks me; he's just anxious to get home. I'm glad I make enough to take care of my only "family member" :)
He's getting pet-insurance after this!

20. I think the vet's feeding him greenbacks at the moment
:o

He got really sick and had to go to a specialists clinic, thus the BILL. My regular vet is far more affordable. In this case, I'm glad I have one regular credit card and one medical credit card (originally for the dental bills...)

Still, he's worth it :D

He's difficult for me to photograph as he's all black and can't stand being photographed

These pics are a little over a year old, while he's about 8-1/2 y-o now. I'll be taking pics when he's home again...

36. Yeah, I'd say so!
:)
Those are all beautiful kitties!

I saw your post on Dawgmom's thread, and I think mine has received similar treatment and costs. I haven't added up how much the regular vet has gotten from me this year, only what I'm paying out to the specialists. That alone is approaching $6k. But like you or someone else pointed out, if I or another human had to go through the same treatment, even with insurance it'd likely be a lot higher. And we'd still pay it out. Family is family no matter what form it takes :)

I think we can safely assume I'm not going to win the lottery between now and New Year, but depending on which year you want, it'll be a different bracket, and down, naturally. :eyes:

the move to this lil rural nowhere town from the big city was the best thing that ever happened to us.

I'm so glad we took the chance. Takes courage to sell everything and load a UHaul and land in a new place with no family or prospects when you're pushing 50.

took a while to find our 'spot' but we're doing so much better here and now than we did in the big city.

19. I sure can use a hug!
It took a year for my savings to get all used up, Mom and Dad helped me but once Sarah Palin became known good old Dad went and re-registered as a Republican just so he could support her and that's the last I've heard from him even though he lives just 5 miles away...I told him I just have a cell phone and I buy minutes so I guess he can't be bothered about calling me because I don't know why...other than the pretty obvious fact that I am a true failure in life.

33. Do you mean the Household Fraction of-an -Annual Income?
An actual "annual" income would be better represented in a Sherman T. Peabody's "Fractured Fairytales" cartoon for us.

We haven't been an actual family "annual-income" household for at least a decade, more like the Household quarterly income versus zilch plus or minus. When it's good, it's good and needs to be saved for when it's not, like the other 9 months when it's been as bad as 75-100% less, unemployment insurance included, so when they talk about the CPI it's not reflecting this family anymore. With the bail-out accelerating, the CPI need to be changed to reflect the Citizen-Price-Index, reflecting the annualized life-time cost to average families of the elite's heist of America.
