Sorry they wouldn't leave you alone, but you're not in the hospital to be left alone. Or to sleep. Or to really get better. You do that at home. ;)

17. If she's one of my patients...

It usually goes like this, "I'm really thirsty!" Me, "Here's some ginger ale, but take it slow. Just sips at first or you may feel nauseas." Patient, "Ok" (while thinking, "this chick doesn't know what she's talking about") then proceed to suck down the whole can, puke, and I give them Reglan or Zofran. It's almost expected. :)
