3. Going to the Franklin Street Halloween in Chapel Hill, NC

The town shuts down the main streets. This year, though, they are trying to reduce the crowd.
No more shuttle buses into town. Cover charge at all bars. They've had violence the last couple of years late--after midnight.

But it's crazy. Everybody comes in costume and walks around downtown. Very fun.

6. Yes, it's gotten out of control

the last couple of years. I think they want to get a handle on it before something really bad happens.

10. driving my daughter to a party and then coming back home to give out candy

and i have a lot of it so even though i don't expect many kids they'll be getting all of it, all 8 bags.

very mild night for Hallowe'en in Minnesota - it's still about 50 degrees here.
