According to the dictionary, insolate means exposed to sunlight.

And one FR "McCain type" writes:
I am starting to lose sleep because I spend too much time on the internet discovering how Obama would wreck our country. It really is irritating to see how arrogant these Obama supporters are in their beliefs. They are insolated in their beliefs because of Barack’s clever manipulation of the facts. They don’t relate much to America’s past so patriotism is a vague idea. If they’re white they don’t have any amount of racial pride that would be inherent in any human in any time period so Obama’s anti-white bigot friends and they’re impending ascension to the throne has no effect on them.

You are right. And this is totally unacceptable. That’s why none of us can sleep. We better prepare for battle. Serious.
