My cat Sophie FINALLY understands what "OW!" means...
and it only took her two years...:eyes: She's always been kind of crazy--liked to pounce on my unsuspecting legs and scratch and bite them as a kitten..likes to yank at my clothes for attention with her claws and even likes the love bite thing. And her two favorite ways of waking me up...clawing at my feet or "brushing my hair" (ie running claws through my hair. Lately I noticed that when I go "ow!" she stops, even the love bites....however not necessarily a good thing..I wasn't paying enough attention to her a few minutes ago and she hooked my sleeve with her claws I tried to shake her off and she accidently got me and I went OW!! and she freaked out and ended up scratching me good...x(
My cat Caliope is nine (got her as a kitten, not long after she was born), and she still doesn't seem to realize that we we shout "OW!" that it means we're in pain.
Although... if she did know, I don't think she'd really care...
