That's your choice for a ragin housewrecker. Work forgot to pay me, it was rent and bill week.... so that combined with my trip back east in September left me pretty well tapped until I get the problem corrected next week.

No worries though, I've got food and a few extra bucks for incidentals.... oh and, of course, my $15 bottle of merlot!

That should last a couple days :-)

Still, wanna get my hands on whoever fucked my paycheque.

1. That's nothing. I just found out Two Buck Chuck is vegan.
And in case you're wondering how a $2 bottle of Cabernet tastes, the answer is "barely good enough to cook with."

4. Unfortunately, Two Buck Chuck isn't available to our Canadian friend.
Unless he drives down to Bellingham and smuggles it back over the border. Which might actually be worth the trip.

No Trader Joe's in Canada, and if there were, they wouldn't be selling wine. Strictly a government owned operation up there, eh?

6. See, I'm from California, so the idea of not being able to buy booze whenever and wherever perplexes
me. Grocery store, pharmacy, gas station...

The only thing we can't get here is real Everclear. Oh, and no alcohol between 2 and 6 am. The 24 hour groceries either rope off those aisles or cover it up with tarps, even.

But he's not missing anything with the two buck chuck. I wound up using it to make gravy.

7. We have liquor stores here and that is the only place to buy booze
Just last July we were able to start buying booze on Sundays. Otherwise on Sundays we would have to go to the grocery store and get the 3.2 blues.

The liquor stores fought to change the law that allowed booze to be sold on Sundays because they like having Sundays off. When a bill was introduced that would allow booze to be sold at grocery stores and wal-mart. etc, the liquor stores all of a sudden thought it was a good idea to sell booze on Sundays.

No booze at the grocery, but you can buy booze on Sundays now. Fair enough for me!

P.S.
Here in Colorado when I was 18 I could legally drink 3.2 beer. There was a 3.2 gay bar even but I was too chicken to go. I remember getting pretty messed up on 3.2. But not anymore....water

8. That always kills me when I travel. EVERYTHING here is open on Sunday.
Okay, not the thrift store run by the Mormons, but everything else. It's actually the busiest shopping day.

9. Well, everything is open now!
Except for Chick-Fil-A...I think they are staying locked up on Sundays.

3. I "splurged" on a 375 ml bottle of Courvoisier.
I only drink two or three fingers in a sitting, though, and I don't have it every night, so it'll last me a while. (And I have small fingers. :P )
