Has flu season started already?

My aunt and I went to the VA Wednesday. This morning, well, last night really, I started sneezing and coughing and showing all kinds of symptoms of the flu. I'm so sore this morning. Damn, I hate being sick.

*sigh* Already?

...and the worst part about it, is that I have to cook my own chicken soup, if I am going to have any.

I fell asleep not long after posting the OP this morning. I'm up and coughing like crazy now. We were going to have tomato soup, fried green tomatoes and grilled cheese sandwiches today. Something tells me we'll be having chicken soup for lunch and throat lozenges for dessert.

Are you from the eastern end or in the mountains in NC? I'm from almost down east (in the Sandhills)about 70 miles east of Charlotte. Did it get kind of cold last night where you are? It got down to 46 here.

I rarely ever get colds and flus(spelling?). I'm all bundled up tonight. I'm going to rummage around for another packet of TheraFlu soon. :)

I have to do most of the grocery shopping and other things around town. My aunt stays at home most of the time. We were both at the VA but she is not showing these symptoms. She has a weakened immune system with the multiple sclerosis too. That's probably it. I got it some other time. Usually, she'll start showing symptoms earlier than I do if we both were exposed. Other than being sore from all that moving around the other day, she has been fine.
