The house feels so empty without the Pip and the Bee
We are going on vacation tomorrow and we dropped them off at the kennel this morning.
Bailey was WIRED and Pip acted like she was being abandoned at the animal shelter (which is where we got her from).
The mailman came and went in silence. I went in and out of the house, and looked for things in the shop in peace. We brought the groceries in from the car without problems. The smoke alarm went off and we opened all the doors. We ate dinner in peace and quiet. And now we are about to go to bed without the usual bedtime rituals of going outside and getting cookies.
