America has a weird relationship with Alcohol

We crated all these strange laws about it.

But if you go to Europe, the majority of their beers averages 4-5%

Our macro breweries set it at 2-4% depending on your state

But if one thing, Microbreweries are known for brewing high octane beers.

The average is 5% - and the American IPA's start at 6%. European IPA's never go higher than 5%.

Something along the lines of, if someone wants to get drunk but can only get low alcohol beer, he's just gonna drink more beer. So instead of a drunk, you get a fat drunk.

But yeah, 21 as the legal age is another ridiculos booze law down there.

my friend, her German husband, and his German friend. The overall drinking age there is 18, but only 16 for beer. Here, you can die in some stupid war at 18, but you can't legally drink, yet most people do. Stupid.
