OK, it appears that we're catsitting this weekend...

My sister's friend offered the house for us just for the weekend of my nieces' Bat Mitzvah which happens this weekend. Mom tells me that there is 2 cats in it, one is friendly, and one hides.

Now, have never taken care of the cats before, any advice will help - Wife won't do it - she is scared of them. Mom also asked me to clean up their kitty litters every morning. I just hope the tools are there.

So, I'd like to know how I can make sure the cats are doing fine without harming them.

1. Make sure the kitty owner leaves you instructions and

emergency contact info.

That said, they're pretty easy. Scoop the litter box, make sure they have food and water, and then just allot a little time to sit on the couch and hang out with them. they'll come and ask for attention if they are so inclined. :D

2. Relax in the house and they will let you know what they need.

Are you only going over to care for the cats or are you staying there? If you are staying just relax, you'll soon have one sleeping in your lap!
