Funny, strange beer. I can’t taste but the faintest of bretts. It’s there, but very much in the background. At the same time, the one flavor that comes to mind is "rum." Particularly, a well aged bottle of fine Cuban Rum - something along the lines of Matusalem or Havana Club Black Label. Pours opaque golden with very little head. Very dry flavor with some strange tannin-like flavors dancing around.

But its worth it, as long as its been kept well.

3. I love the Ommegang beers, but haven't tried that one yet.

I finally, after years of searching after I moved out of NYC, found a place that carries Ommegang beer. It's about 90 miles away, but worth the trip.
