I just can't help myself.
I have to post these pictures of my dogs....

Yesterday Egypt was sedated for xrays (she apparently sprained her paw) and Zeus wanted to play - when she could not, he laid down next to her and went to sleep - look at the paw under his head :loveya:

Then Zeus played with his toy:

And today, Egypt is feeling much better:

C'mon loungers - share your pet pictures too!!!

:hi:

15. thank you...
Zeus has started to show his real personality now after his initial shy homecoming. Egypt - well, she is just her royal self - I learned this weekend that she is on the "high end" of the rat terrier energy scale..... who knew? I thought she was just normal.

17. I had nothing to do with it
:scared:

Actually, a bobbed tail is typical in rat terriers. Both of my dogs are rescue dogs, one from a kill shelter - the other from a puppy mill. The red-faced warrior is the puppy mill refugee and is only 5 months old. He is not likely to grow much more. He should settle in at about 10 pounds max. The bandit-masked one is 2 years old was in a kill shelter and weighs 13 pounds. It's so amusing that they are so small yet so full of life and energy :hi:

20. How absolutely adorable! I'm so glad things are working out so well, except for poor Egypt's paw...

Was she roughhousing with her new little brother? They appear to be a match made in heaven, and both rescue, too... Never apologize for posting pet pix! I was so looking forward to seeing these... And you now have a matched set, LOL, priceless... :loveya:

They are so very fortunate to have each found a friend, and especially fortunate to have found you...

I have been equally fortunate with my guys, never a problem between them. Except when Meneken first met Sara, he went off on her, as he was wont to do with unfamiliar dogs, all eight pounds of him, LOL, but when she just turned and walked away, I knew that she was the right dog for both of us. And she became his protector...:loveya:

On edit: Here are Sara and Meneken, my beloved babies who I still miss so much, at home with each other... ;( :loveya:
