Had to get some more unk-jay for TM for school. She leaves Wednesday.

Took BoyMidlo driving and we stopped for a nice lunch.

Have some ribs in the oven slow boiling in beer, then they're going on the grill.

That's about it. And you?

15. Thank you.
It's been more annoying than anything. But there's only a little bit left and the next treatment should be a piece of cake, just a couple injections of thyroid hormone and a little radiation (very little, just a pill of a few RADS...a lot easier than last year was). Hopefully, that'll do it.

My mother survived breast cancer, and she went through the works, chemo and everything. So compared to her I've had it easy. I can't complain. But I'll be glad when it's done and gone.

Thanks for the kind wishes. :)

22. I have been, but it's such a slow growing cancer that I don't think they were in much of a rush.
It's been almost two years since the original diagnosis. But supposedly this last treatment will take care of whatever is left. I'm not really that worried, I just want it over because I hate dealing with doctors and appointments and things like that. That stuff just gets on my nerves. I hate having to be anywhere. :)

39. A group of 4
who spend tons of time gossiping and complaining about most other employees that reminds me of middle school or whatever age where that hello kitty stuff is popular. They had another coworker in their group that they harassed until she quit because she wasn't into the hello kitty mindset. The only other person in my group right now is emotionally 14 so I'm probably going to wind up leaving. I was so hopeful since martyr left and I got away from the stuff my crazy boss is running and then Friday I find this out. :(

47. getting ready to mow my back yard. Did the front yesterday. We had rain
so I couldn't do my mowing early yesterday as I had originally planned. So glad for the rain I don't really care.

Went out door knocking for our State Leg Rep, up for re election, then hit Macy's for some Tax Holiday shopping (made out like a Bandit)

had a visit with my neighbor who is going to feed my kitties while I visit my daughter next week.

Now I am hanging out here for a bit.

Later, doing laundry, grilling something for supper and watching some Olympics.

I'm going to Scotland tomorrow to speak at IASP, a pain conference, and go see Nessie. My youngest daughter has applied to swing semester to work for the Obama campaign in Cincinnati. Hope she gets accepted! She's a dual US/Canada citizen and could bring the campaign an interesting perspective.

52. Was one of four finalists for a job. Went there for an interview
but didn't get the job. Sending out more resumes.

I'm gonna put some books up here for sale b/c I am running out of funds. So, tell all your friends to buy a book or two! Good stuff, good prices. (does that sounds "sellsy" enough?

oh, and I'm landscaping. I just killed grass in my driveway with clove oil spray - it's safe for pets, people, groundwater. It works. But I think I breathed in too much of it because I've felt weird sick going on two days.

I am working occasionally for my old boss, like I did today, and will run her place when she goes to Wyoming next week.

my life is totally boring, in other words.

57. it was encouraging anyway
because it was a great place and I had made to it the final four (sounds like basketball?) And they paid me to go there and paid for me to stay in a hotel and paid for three meals at good places. Of course, the whole time I was at those dinners/lunches/brunches I was being interviewed by various ppl so it wasn't all, you know, fun and games.

you're looking too?

I have one option left (to go into biz for myself) if I can't find a job soon. I'd be doing the same thing, basically, but in a biz environment instead of academic one.
