9. good choices, kennethken, and i will add...
Any Kris Kristofferson album where he is singing 'The Silver-Tongued Devil and I'

John Hiatt - 'Crossing Muddy Waters' or "Walk On'

Rory Gallagher or John Martyn - any album...

I think all these guys were flaming alcoholics at one time or another which is why they go well with whiskey? Maybe there is a lesson there.

11. I like John Hiatt
not a Kristofferson fan.

I vaguely know who Rory Gallagher is, but I don't think I know John Martyn at all.

there's an awful lot of music in the world; too much for me to try to keep up with it all.

but :toast: to you and your choices. It'd be a boring old world if there weren't myriad choices in it.

13. Rum, Sodomy & The Lash by The Pogues
Although, as I recall, it was neither whiskey, nor rum that we drank, but tequila. The bottle had a cute little plastic sombrero lid, but the hangover was anything but cute.
