1. Hang on a second, just to be clear,

is the disconnect that you don't think a Russian nuclear repsonse is likely, or that we could intervene in the Caucausus without a massive Russian respsone of some sort?

Judging by how massive and disproportionate the Russian response was to the orginal Georgian incursion if we attempt to stick our military oar in that mess I think a massive response would be inevitable--nuclear or otherwise.

Particularly now, with our current (totally overmatched) leadership, this is certainly not a good time to really flesh out those details.

I simply want some clear facts and proof before everyone starts running around in circles claiming Russia said they would nuke us. So far, all they have is a guess from a retired AF general that sounds like he has an agenda and the White House Press Secretary...
