Favorite Robot?
I won't start a poll because it wouldn't be possible to represent even a decent share of the possibilities.

12. The robot in "Cherry 2000"

Interesting "cult" movie. It wasn't good enough to be a "so bad it was good" midnight movie like Plan Nine or Queen of Outer Space (it was actually a little boring and tedious in some spots), but the overall premise was original and Amazon sums it up better than I could: "Cherry 2000 is the heartwarming tale of Sam Treadwell (David Andrews), who will stop at nothing to find another model of his broken sex android." (http://www.amazon.com/Cherry-2000-David-Andrews/dp/B0000542CA/).

and my mom walked in the room, and said "Oh god!" (imagine Katherine Hepburn saying it)

in disapproval of Cherry's feminine attributes

and had anthony perkins in it too!

edit: it really scared me as a kid, the whole maximillian thing. But in some respects, Rienhardt was pretty interesting.
