9. That is a wall cloud -- prelude to a tornado, and they seem to occur

a tad higher in the sky. I am no weather expert, mind you, but I've never before seen photos of one of these so close to the ground. They are ordinarily much higher in the sky in the pictures that I have seen.

Mike Hollingshead is a stormchaser in the midwest, and some of his shots are outrageous. Wins 'best photo' awards every year from MSNBC for his coverage of tornadoes and supercells in the Tornado Belt.

The storm in that shot looks just like one he took a couple of years ago, so my guesstimation is that it's a 'Shop.
