3. My dear ccharles000!
30 is old?

Heh...

Both my daughters are past 30, waaaaaaaaay past it!

And they're still young...

To me, old is a state of mind.

But in years...90 to 100 years old is OLD.

:P

Of course, if John McCain were 25 I would still think he is old.

8. I think the definition of what's old keeps getting pushed up and up.
I've seen healthy 80 year olds look at someone 90+ and call that person old. If a person's outlook stays positive and youthful, only the body ages but not the soul. If you've got a bad attitude about life 35 or 40 can be WAY over the hill.

22. You're old when you read
"I think the definition of what's old keeps getting pushed up and up" and for a split second think it's a comment about bras.

9. get off my lawn u whippersnapper!
i'll be 30 soon!

IMO, nobody actually knows what they want out of life until they near 30. It really does take that long. If you disagree then you are lucky or deceiving yourself.

10. Father Time is Old and Mother Nature is just as old.
Dirt is almost as old. Water is older than Dirt and Light is the youngest of them all.

11. Depends on the subject.
Person, artifact, animal. With living things, it's subjective. GD will never get that, but it's true.

12. 10 years older than whatever my father's age is.
Edited on Wed Aug-06-08 11:09 PM by Withywindle
'Cause I'm a daddy's girl and I'm not willing to EVER think of him as an old man. I mean, he IS the one who introduced me to the Sex Pistols and the Clash and the Dead Kennedys.

So, at the moment, 74.

18. I did too when I was 17.
Now I'm nearly 30 and I don't feel any older than I was when I was 17. "Old" is a state of mind, I don't intend to live that long.

21. Have you ever stated your own age? If not, now is the time.
For all we know, you're 29 and coming to grips of a mid-life crisis (or something)
Or, you're an 18 year old in love with a 30 year old professor.

C'mon. Give a little more info.

24. That's good to know.
I have read other great posts of yours. It's good to know a person's general background. Again, I have appreciated your posts, in general.

When I was 19, I imagined age 30 as being a horrible trap. The idea of being so...yucky at age 30 had never appealed to me, when I could stay 21 forever in my mind.

I'm 37 now, and I will list the things that have kept me young:

#50 suncreen, every day, on your face,
regular, sweat-inducing, exercise
vitamin C for everyone, Calcium pills
adequate sleep (take naps if that's what you have to do)
