It's about an old guy and his old cat who travel cross-country together. Art Carney won a Best Actor Academy Award for it. It's a great movie.

31. Of course they do, with the cat at the games.
One opposing team thought they had it licked by bringing a dog with them to the game. The cat chased the dog out of the park. lol And of course, the man's spoiled kids were trying to find a way to get rid of the cat so they could get the fortune. (Of course the man left a lot of money for the care of the cat and appointed a man he trusted to take care of the cat.)

So you would hear that endless banjo music on his commercials more than you would see the movie.

I saw it on a Saturday afternoon back when we had uhf stations that would play old movies a lot. I was supposed to be on my way out but I was enjoying the movie so much that I stayed home until it was over. Probably never get the opportunity to see it again either.

That cat acted like a cat, not a cartoon character. That's probably why I liked it. Besides, the cat was an orange tabby, just like mine.

59. I think that Lucifer, in Disney's Cinderella, has to be right up there...
Evidently, he made quite an impression on me as a small child. My mother said that she made the effort to take me to see it when I was about three. It was tough for her, since she didn't drive at the time, so we took a bus, and she was expecting my brother. But she said that I cried because I was afraid of the cat, LOL, and wanted to go home...:-(
