as long as it didn't drip on her at all. I think they like the coolness of the enamel or whatever sinks and tubs are made of but your right, water isn't usually a cat favorite.

Now you know that I would love just to have the chance to see you and I really don't need to be bribed by the prospect of your cooking, although as you also know I would never turn down something you cook. (I wouldn't want to be rude :D )

I offered to cook for that, as well. She's invited ThomCat from DU to her house, and said she's invited you, me, Joe and Al there to meet him. Just discussed it with Joe, who is coming, and she said Jack's invited, too, to meet her and Egypt. The only thing is that he's vegan, so I have to decide what to make. But I'm really looking forward to it, am best with vegs and pasta. I've missed you, my friend, have been having a tough time just lately... :-(

And I remember the DU thread that I sent you long ago, thinking of Cato, when somebody's kitty walked on and fell in her tub and she took pix, LOL. What is it about cats and water? LOL, like little Huck. But Rags was the same way, was freaked out by rain and thunder, so jumped in the shower with me, twice in a row...:shrug:

But I learned something at my vet, that short and long-haired cats have different dander. I've been allergic all my life, but apparently am not allergic to long-haired cats, since my amazing sweetheart of a cat persisted in sleeping on my pillow, and I was fine. And they're my family, too.:hi:

the two extremes of the terrier world. And I also care for Huck and Tom, so have two of each. Here's Charlie, my housemate's dog, not my choice, LOL, since he is close to outweighing me, but he's a very sweet dog, love him dearly, and he's BFF with my little Jack. I'm lucky in that.:hi:

DU is heavily Freeped, meaning that Free Republic keeps up with us, but we have an excellent moderator system to deal with trolls or disruptors, and I've been one here, have been on DU for more than five years, and this is has to be the most user-friendly site on the net. It's my home on-line.:-)

As for smilies, they are easy. When you hit "post", just look at the "Smilies lookup table" right above the subject line. That tells you all the smilies available here, which are considerable. We also have the best IT guy here, Elad, and he's constantly making improvements to DU.:D
