Please, all of your vibes, prayers and whatever else for my dog Buddy

This is Buddy:



He was just admitted at the emergency hospital. Yesterday he was acting odd, as I was home for the day I noticed he wasn't very energetic, and kinda restless. This morning, he wouldn't drink water, couldn't sit still, and started bleeding from his penis, and felt hot. My brother rushed him to the animal hospital. After some wrangling to get emergency credit (with all of my Mom's bills, we don't have a lot of extra $), they admitted him. He's resting comfortably.

The vet thinks it's either stones that have actually traveled into his penis, b/c it's very inflamed and the vet thinks she feels something there. They're running his bloodwork now, and will go on to X Ray or the other possibility, which is the presence of a mass.

I'm so worried. This is my baby. I rescued him from the pound a couple days before he would have been put down, when he was 1 year old. He's about 9 now. I carried him out of there in my arms, and he's been my baby ever since.

I've owned dogs most of my life, most of them rescued and have had many a day of worry like this.

8 years of friendship and love is going to cost you and this is one of those 'costs' I guess. But it's still worth it isn't it. ;)

I hope things turn out well, have confidence in the Vet they can do so much these days for dogs and perhaps you'll have another good 9 years.

That sounds very likely to me, from his symptoms. Females can pass them, but male dogs can't without surgery, from what I've read. What a beautiful face he has!

Seneca has been twice to vet in the past month...total loss of bladder control. Back on antibiotics for second round. Vet thought possibly stones, but ruled that out.
